The Challenge
A client partner of ours in the Western Territory was seeking to expand their Army of Hope program to increase sustainer revenue.
The Solution
We recognized the critical importance of weaving Army of Hope messaging into donor communications throughout the year, beyond the traditional sustainer program components like invitations and reminders. To that end, we produced additional Army of Hope-specific packages within key donor campaigns throughout the year. Through this robust direct response program, including greeting cards, newsletters, gift summary statements and more, we supported and expanded this client’s initiatives to communicate with their Army of Hope donors.
The Results
Over three years, we raised $3.4 million for this Division in direct mail remit revenue for Army of Hope-specific mailings. The additional Army of Hope branded packages produced a significantly higher response rate and average gift.
