Responding to Hurricane Idalia

The Challenge
Second Harvest of the Big Bend is a client partner of ours located in Tallahassee, Florida. When we began our strategic fundraising partnership, we foresaw the unique challenges posed by their location in a disaster-prone area.

The Solution
Recognizing the importance of preparedness, we worked closely with the client to learn more about their disaster response protocols and key messaging points. Utilizing the information we gathered, we pre-concepted and proactively developed hurricane-specific digital templates, complete with customized copywriting and design elements, poised for immediate deployment in the event of a hurricane.

The Results
When Hurricane Idalia directly hit their service area, we were able to leap into action immediately. We launched a comprehensive digital fundraising campaign, allowing Second Harvest to channel their focus toward ensuring the safety of their team and efficiently managing on-the-ground food and water distribution efforts.

This campaign was highly successful, generating $60,839 from 400+ donors. We are committed to anticipating and addressing the unique needs of our partners, ensuring seamless and effective collaboration in times of crisis.
